First snow in 40 years

So it snowed in my town for the first time in 40 years this week.

That was awesome. My grandma has a picture of my city with two inches of snow on the ground back in the '70s. Hasn't snowed and stuck since.
 
We got a very tiny bit up in Auckland. I don't know anyone (even my grandparents who have lived here for over 60 years) who has seen it snow here before. Hopefully a sign of things to come.
 
was down courtney place when the first snow started to fall. i wtf'd. the next day i made a jump in the middle of my street, shit doesn't happen everyday
 
It snowed at my place. In 26 years ive been alive, it hasnt even come close to snowing there. My dad said there were flurries like 40 years ago. AND IM IN FUCKING AUSTRALIA. FUCK.
 
And that vid, well I know Im a sucker for emotive cinematography, but that was epic, shows how amazing snow is.

And Cuba St has the best Kebab and Japanese shops. EPIC. love that street.
