A great storm around most of MT for the next 4-5 days, just want to hear first hand how your mountain is after some real snow and of course pics or vids don't hurt. Thanks and be safe.

60-80mph winds at Bridger, so our 1" of new snow is probably somewhere around Billings.

Anyone want to rent a season pass from me?

I saw that, can't believe you aren't getting any more snow than that cuz we got 26inches in the last 3 days at Great Divide. Great video from Whitefish, I'm going to have to make it there this season. I am hittin Discovery on Saturday and will post some vid, suppose to be great over there. Be safe out there

Been pretty disappointing so far, but I'm sittin at the Moonlight Lodge right now and it is dumping!!!! Maybe our snow is a little behind

i was at moonlight yesterday and it was nuking up on lone tree, then this naaaasty gust came up for a few minutes. Skied a line, bulletproof again, went home.

That was backside of the radio towers dropping down above greywolf. Closer to inbounds than the canyon....It's getting deeper. Been cold tho..gopro not liking the 0-5 degree weather...hopefully it's sick again tomorrow

Epic day at Lost Trail today. They reported about 30 inches of new snow. Faceshots from opening till close.

Should've been here last year!

I can't remember a winter that's been this bad here, ever. Right now I'm just counting the days until I can fish and ride my bike again.

It's about time, I'm going there in the next few weeks if the snow keeps up. Discovery was a bust Saturday so we went to Great Divide, lots of snow but it starting getting wet so got a bit like cement in places. Here is a pic of the chairs on the first run up the Wild West lift.

I heard they ended up closing the road to the GD saturday morning, did you make it up before or after they did that? And was the road really that bad?

Yeah I was up an hour before the lifts opened doing some hiking. They did close the road about 10am because it was pretty slushy/icy apparently but it was alright when I went up at 7:30. When I left the road was pretty slushy but I don't see why it was closed unless it was far worse than that.

the road was good up until about 9 9-30. then it started raining, then all hell broke loose. i drove up around 10 and never went over 35, when i down shifted i would slide. they temporarily closed the road until some sanding trucks went through. GD never closed. GD will almost never close, unless the wind is 60+ or the electricity goes out. Always remember, GD will almost never shut lifts down.

But the snow was awesome. always so much fun to be had there!

Ya, the GD is always running lifts. When I worked there in high school, I was instructing in -20 below. I was at disco saturday and sunday, it was super sick too.
