First Real Edit November 2011

What do you guys think for one of my first few edits? Please tear me down, have been here for 7 years and i know there are some ruthless motherfuckers out there. Positivity is greatly appreciated too. Skiing and editing done by me.

no, he got it right. real as in the first time hes actually made an edit, not a film reel.

but, not bad for your first edit. The shots were really shaky. with some good stabilization, you could have some dope edits.

 
one small little ski-filming critique. Do your speed checks before you get into the frame and it will look less jolty.

Fun edit to watch tho. killin it!
 
dope skiing, just needs stabilization, and i think that shot where both your skis came off shouldn't have been slow mo'd till right as you got to the lip of that pipe.
 
just watched it again and i felt like it had sort of a skate edit feel.. like most of your shots were rail lines/combos.. not necessarily a bad thing but just thought i would throw that out there.
 
This, the skiing was dope, if the shots were just a bit more stable I would have really enjoyed it. also It may just be me but I kind of felt the song didn't really flow with the edit
