Each time i tried it my first day i just kept skiing onto it instead of hitting it straight on then turning my skis, so i would just keep sliding off. I'm sure if i could have done it like i was being told to it would have been like your experience
I inched up to the rail, and slid about two feet then fell off. But the first time I actually thought about it, and really tried to grease it, I slid it. That was a small flat down, and now I'm sliding a 16ft flat, and I havn't fallen yet.
the first time i fell back n landed on my hip so i said to myself ill try to lean foward more bad idea i leaned foward way too much got caught on the rail fell foward and some how bashed my knee on the rail bad experience
i dont kno if anyone remebers the little rail park waterville had like 4-5 years back next to that little hut at the base, but i ate shit on a pvc pipe they just put on the ground for people to slide
there was this 7 foot rail or something and i had rental skis. i can up to to slow and fell on my hip.second time i did it i kept rotating as i slid and i went out switch!
i stomped my frist rail, then i went and tried it again and did what you did...and that was the last week of last season, then i came back first day this year and hit almost every rail in our park, basically i did more things in one day then i did my whole first year...yeah it was a good day haha
haha, i did this flat down rail. super bad set up. I hit the flat, aired the down, landed switch (without twins) my skis stuck into the snow and i got major whiplash.
i was with friends and they all did it i tried and fell back on my shoulder, almost dislocated it, and was pissed after i realized i was trying to slide it unatural.
i got a good one, it was my first day and i thought it was a jump till the last second and i flailed out and got nutted, now i can't have children...lol
Something like slid for maybe 3ft then fall back and kinda lay there for a minute, then I got up and tried again which was about the same result of the first try.
Switch cork 810 with a nice little op mute thrown in for steeze, I landed on the rail 360 blindside switch-up to 540 switch up, then I threw in a backflip off the rail, stuck the landing, and the rail burst into flame...
