First quad on skis landed

all the boarders that did quads had months of training and build up and had it all super-planned out with pro cameramen and shit.

Wacko rocks up and out of nowhere does the first ever quad on skis with only dude filming on a phone. i fucken love it
 
Once again.. I think this is an amazing trick.. but I don't think it counts as a proper quad cork...

Ask Mike Wilson what a proper double or triple cork should look like and he will tell you what he really thinks..

PS. he was the 1st person on skis or snowboards to do double corks..

Because a lot of skiers find certain jump tricks easier switch. He probably was just more comfortable envisioning the rotation starting switch. Notice a lot of the triples that have been thrown were switch too.

You really think that? in reality hes been hitting that jump daily working on triples so he could do that. I personally think its wack that he did that trick, his bag of tricks on jumps pretty much only includes that 1 axis where he does a cork 3, or switch 180 into the same cork 3. I've never seen him do a double 10,12, 14, switch dub 12, dub bio, nothing else. Just dub 7/9 (+ a "cork") and sw dub 9/10(+ a "cork"). also weak grab bag for the lad

K first of all, the dude is 18 years old, his bag of jump tricks isn't going to be as deep as some older dudes. And so what if he loves that axis? Do you shit on comp jocks because they all do a consistent dub 10 and dub 12? It's also not his only axis, watch some edits and you'll see he has other jump tricks. He just seems to gravitate towards that axis because he has a certain style in his skiing: weird floaty relaxed spins and fast simple snappy rail tricks

Let the dude live, he's accomplished plenty for a pro skier at the age of 18 to deserve praise

Well if his bag of jump tricks isnt deep, why go chuck a quad flip and start that movement in skiing? Learn other shit first.

I can't find more axis honestly. It all rotates around a cork 3 safety (which is still cool im small quantities). Comp skiers do bio, cork, switch cork with big rotations and small rotations. Lot more variety there pal!
 
Maybe it's actually Goepper in disguise and in a week he'll come out showing it was him after everyone said it was stylish and cool since if he did it first no matter how nice it was people would say it sucked.

Why so much hate for Wacko? Seems like you have a personal vendetta.

That jump was completely reshaped a day before he did his quad. The old jump had a very different shape. He showed up and hit the new jump only a handful of times before chucking that quad. Got it done before 8am.
