First proper ski trip out west

So my school does a ski trip every year to western Canada. This year coming up its to Sun Peaks and Big White. The problem is the trip is between 1700 - 2000 for 7 days and the money situation is tight right now. How can I convince my parents to let me go?
 
if you cant afford it you cant afford it, it sucks as a parent to not be able to send your kid on something like that and honestly, they probs dont wanna hear more about how much you wanna go.
 
Its more like my mom can't really afford it I could ask my step dad but I don't like asking him for money let alone that much
 
Take action yourself. Try to get a job and tell your mom that you will meet her halfway, be proactive!
 
except for the fact that I'm 15 so a lot of that doesn't apply........ The trip is all inclusive except for food so I guess its not that bad
 
food's kinda a big part of all inclusive. unless there are a bunch of hot girls going who you may or may not want to impress and subsequently bump uglies with then it isn't worth it.

 
yeah dude its a shitty economy. asking your parents for that much is overkill. You are 15 pretty young just save your money and you'll get out there soon enough bro
 
Unfortunately one of my ex girlfriends is going on the trip...... but its not looking good on the hot girl aspect ill just have to try to find one there
 
I would say $1700 seems like a fair price, but if you dont have the money now, SAVE. Just keep saving and someday you can plan an even longer trip with you and your bros.

 
Right now a lot of my money is being saved for a car but then again I would much rather have a car then a ski trip
