First Pow Day Revelation!

So I was up at my local resort (Bridger Bowl) today and i had one of the better days that ive ever had skiing. For some reason, things panned out perfectly. It was 25 degrees, bluebird, good buddies, and knee deep cold smoke. And as i got back down to the car i realized something. Each and everyone of us, is extremely privelaged. Less than 2 percent of the entire world has ever ridden a pair of skis, and luckily everyone who is reading this is part of that group. I think that people take skiing for granted, the fact that we are able to afford to be able to ski at all is perhaps one of the best gifts we could ever recieve. It is an outlet for an infinite amount of passion and excitement. So next time your up on the hill, stop for a moment and think what life would be like without skiing. It will make that next run seem like the best you've ever had.

Your that guy? Thats actually what got me thinkin about the whole appreciation thing. Life is a precious gift man. We gotta make the best of that of what we have and leave this world a little bit better than we found it.

skiings a good example, but everything people on this site havedaily access to internet for exampleit's all such a privilege and wayy too many people take it for granted
its a good reality check to think about sometimes thoughgood revelation man

Yessir, I was doing similar things yesterday. If you want to know that you are blessed, go ski some powder.

hahaha. no worries man. That was a good ol time. Are you foolz gonna head over to big sky for opening day?

I wish more people would have that mentality. We are sooo privelaged and we dont really realize it. I just think that people would be much happier if they would stop and think about all that they had, and everything that they have going for them.

^ alright dude, no need to be an ass in a +vibe thread. holiday valley in the east opened novemebr 20th, with 30' of powpow, so were not underprilaged by any meas.

adn this is for real man. i talk to kids all the time who have never been skiing or snowboarding, and are consequently left to hate winter the rest of their life. they hate the cold and the snow, and they simply just dont see the potential and the bueaty of it all.

TGR is right, you guys really do not get sarcasm, maybe it is becuase yo are 14, or maybe not. just try and relax ok...same goes for dude below you.
