First pair of skis, advice?

Hey so i'm looking to buy my first pair of twin tips soon but i'm not looking to spend a lot of money. I was looking at a pair of 161 1080 thrusters for $180 a pair of 168 1080 Lab CRs. I read that the Labs are a more advanced ski and stiffer and less forgiving on landings and stuff but i'm worried the 161s will be too small. I'm 5'10" and weigh 150. I'm looking to spend no more than 500 for a full package so if anyone has any advice as to what size ski i should get or anywhere i could find some deals it'd be appreciated.

Northeast so not a lot of powder most likely. I wanna do a lot of park but i'll be skiing whatever trails my friends wanna go on too.

It all depends of how advanced of a skier you are, but at 5'10" i'd say you're going to want a ski at least in the mid-170's

Yeah line anthems look nice but they cost a lil more than i'm looking to spend, i might go with the Labs so i won't have to buy new skis too soon.

i'd look into armada args or a pair of hellbents. they're really forgiving on landings and a great park/starter ski. have fun out there bud!

Congrats! Would you like a trophy?

let me just say this. use the fucking search bar next time because there are a mouth load of threads on this same thing already.

Yes, I would like a trophy... Why not just say check the search bar, instead of leading the kid in the wrong direction. He is new at this and is just looking for some advice, but you have to be a dick.

awww... but I like being a dick. alright, here is my real suggestion get some full tilts or some invaders like every other kid on this site.
