First pair of park skis

hi guys pretty much i was thinking of buying my first pair of park skis this season...i found a deal on the internet from a hire shop, it is 09-10 suspects 2-4 weeks on snow but come fully serviced and with a 1 yr warranty for £199 ($309) with bindings...just wanted to see what you guys thought if it was a good deal???

one thing i was worrying about is that the binding is a SC710 which i have never heard of...is this a fairly standard binding for a rental ski???

I've never heard of that kind of binding before... Is that the make or the model? On the note of skis, I didn't hear such great things about last years suspects, a bunch of my friends edges blow out within a few weeks of riding them.
