you know... ns is a great resource for raising capital.

How could Dave possibly film ordinary NS skiers? They are from all over North America. Plus it was just a last minute thing. The idea for the movie came up in what? July or something? Give the guy a break. It's just a movie. Next year (if they do it) I bet it will be definitely planned farther in advance like every other production company. It takes months and months of filming and editing. Give Dave a break. He wants to create a piece of art with everyone's steeze together as a whole.
I liked the whole idea of people filming their own stuff, but next year their should be a requirement for the film quality and such. The voting style needed to be different because I believe some people got cheated out.

We should start a donation thingy for a movie for next season. Start planning now so no one has to rush, and set ground rules for everyone. You could get so much money. How many members are actually active? Shoot for the stars, people.

because the movie aint even done yet and I have to have this finished before IF3!
also, I do have experience making movies, I don't care if someone else makes it next year, but I can guarantee you that not one person with a lot of experience making movies will edit this entire thing on their own without being paid a single dime
I just want to get this thing started, it's gonna be a bumpy start, yes, but next year, it will be sick as hell
next year, the movie will be more of a "battle my crew format", I'm gonna start it in December and run it the whole year, there will be much stricter rules, one being HD footage only, and the movie will be split up into regions, so we will have crews from all over providing footage, also, the voting will change completely

Cinematic in it's scope. The anticipation is like when the laxative starts to works after being constipated for a month. Explosive! Yeah, can't wait to see it...

It's gonna be free to see on the internet.... and yet you still find a way to complain????
it give exposure to riders and filmakers that are trying their luck in the industry... things that usually cost lots of money... for free...
So in the end this project is happening and like it or not I'm sure lots of people will be stoked to see it. I cant understand how you can hate on something that dosnt cost anything (or close to nothing) to produce and wont cost you a dime to see.
Critisism is welcome in any situation but I dont see any critisism in the posts against the ns movie.
I tought the teaser would be better but I know that dave is having a hardtime getting everything done in time for if3(I believe I didnt help for that either
) so I dont mind.
