You read that right it's the first new chair lift in Washington in 20 years. The new "Northway" lift is going to be put in at Crystal mountain. Let's hear some opinions on the good and bad of a new lift in the North B/C at Crystal.

Heres a link to more info: http://www.skicrystal.com/1729.html

well chair 5 at baker is relatively new, replacing the two double chairs, and then skyline (haha anyone remember barrier?) and hogsback at stevens were both put up within the last 20 years.

Ha, Crystal has put in atleast 3 new chairs in in the last 20 years. I don't believe that highspeed chairs were availble 20 years ago. so that means that there are atleast 8 new lifts in WA in the last 20 years, and those are only the ditachable ones. 3 at crystal, 2 at snoqualmie, 2 at stevens and mission ridge put a new one in just a couple years ago.

My bad I can't slip anything past you guys.... This is the first new lift serviced terrain that will open in the state in almost 25 years.

yeah i skied there when i was a kid. i wanna revisit it. whats it like (besides no terrain and one rope tow)

Yeah, non-detachable double, thats awesome. I figured they'd be putting in a super fast detachable uber high speed 8-person chair with a rolling carpet too.
