First kinda legit edit

sweet video, looks like fun, keep up the video.

It's a good way to show people where you've been and what you've done.

Videos like this are an amazing way to share our sport with the world

Nice job on the vid, especially for a first edit.

If I can, I'd like to pass along what I think will be a helpful tip. When you're shredding those lines, try to keep your focus looking down the fall line, rather than across the hill. Many times in the video, you were looking across the hill rather than downhill while turning, which is one of the reasons why your turns were a bit less smooth than desirable. When your shoulders are not square to the fall line (down hill), you must swing your upper body to turn, which wastes energy, hinders fluidity, and makes your skiing appear jerky.

Improving this technique will help you as you get into steeper and more technical terrain, so you can react more quickly and don't barndoor over or get stuck in turns.

Hope you don't take that as a negative comment, but rather, constructive criticism. Keep shredding.

i ment it as constructive criticism. it wasnt a good edit, but they look to be having fun, and to keep working on skiing pow. i know i make the most of what little powder we get here in NY and when ever we get some i know i work to get better at skiing it. but i dont post edits for the sake of posting an edit.

scratch that, the editing was good, lotsss better than i could ever do. i ment the skiing in it wasnt something i would make into an edit.

Nice. Looked like you had a lot of fun. I bet that was awesome for you since you come from the East. You will get good fast. I live on the West, but I cannot imagine having to go back home to the East. It wasn't killer skiing, so what, I'm nothing special either. Don't let that guy get to you. As long as you are out there having fun, that is what matters. So props to you and your bro for having fun! Hey when you do the slow mo, get it so it looks like it is in slow mo but it also looks like regular speed. Get it so it makes the skiing look smooth and almost natural. Kind of like Pollard's edits. Sorry I can't explain it too well. I can't wait to see your next edit! Post it up and HAVE FUN!!! Best of luck this season.

No hate, but there is a video section. I don't think it's necessary to just bump your own edit thread.

Keep your weight on your toes shins in the fronts of your bootsand shoulders down that fall line and you'll murk the pow it's all good in the powdah

pretty much what everyone elese said

just a little less slow mo

also, when you are exporting it, deinterlace it, it will make those funky horizontal lines go away

good work

the titling looks good

ya i know, what i ended up doing was exporting it from final cut express without de-interlacing it (stupidly) then converting it with quicktime but that time i did de-interlacethe full thing will be de interlaced thoughthanks for the comments
