I start my first job tomorrow. I am going to be doing constructiona and am lucky as hell to get this. I think I'll be making around 10-15 bucks an hour. So what were your guy's first jobs and how old were you? Im 15 now.
I worked on construction sites with my Dad a bit surverying when I was like 14 or so, and got paid a LOT of money compared to what I get now. My first actual job was working at a Italian Restraunt near my school, got paid like $8.50 and hated the people there. I think I was 17, but I only lasted there for 4 months before I had enough.
i do doubt $15 an hour but construction pays alot. $10 is more than i ever considered when i was looking for a job. i mean, i was planning on $8 per hour at a ice cream place.
im 15 and my first job is the one im currentaly working... in a garden center/planting trees/ laying sodde/ cutting grass and groundskeeping at our local casino at 8.50 and every year i work thier it moves up a dolla or 50 cents
same job ive had for a few years now, landscaping/gardening. its $8.50 an hour for pulling weeds most of the time. i hated it at first but now im used to it and it aint that bad.
i was 16 and I was a bus boy. I made $5.50/hr + shitty tips. What a pathedic job that was. I'm glad I stopped showing up.
The best job I've had was working as a bell boy/shuttle driver/ski storage guy at a hotel in breck. met so many cool people and made plenty of money. super relaxed job and everyone i worked with was cool. worked that 19-21 and left to goto school. I will always appreciate that job though, so many cool people in hotels.
i was 15 when i got my curent job as a bus boy at a nice restrant...i make 5.50 an hour plus tips soo i make alot....i usually work from 5pm to 11pm and make around $100 a night...its amazing
i was 15, bus boy, and made 3 dollars an hour plus somewhat decent tips walking out with like 30-60 dollars per day. not too bad but hated the hicks i worked with. now i'm stuck with mcdonalds 6.75 an hour. it sucks.
My first job was when I was 14, I worked at a corn maze. It was a pretty chill job, and this will be my third year doing it (it happens in the fall). Basically, I get to hang out in the maze, and help people around and make sure people dont do stupid shit.
i am 16 and my 2nd year on my first job which is caddying its great i get paid at least 60-100+ a day and its actually fun talking to the members at the country club great job!
