First ever Skateboard Side Flip

I was gonna say this. It was ok and all but hes gotta land back on the same board for it to be legit. He is probably pretty close.

 
Didn't notice those uber cool pads he has around his ankles when I watched this the first time. I guess this may only look pretty impressive to non-skaters...like myself. Self-facepalm.
 
man, tough crowd here. yes, i know, this isnt core or whatever, and the knee pads look dorky but come on, admit that shit would be mad hard. don't over think it
 
Nah man, that was pretty sick. Definitely required skill.

He should do side flip to rock to fakie though on the same board. That would be most epic.
 
I watched that video a few mores times. The board is so low in the tranny already it wouldn't be hard to ride away. That flip is really easy to do.

Im calling not that hard, dude just has the balls to try it.
 
I thought it. Was going to be some crazy flip trick variation, or a video from the eighties of a guy doing a kick flip and calling it a side flip
