FIRST EVER POST-On piste/race/mogul transference to big mountain and opinions on the Nordica Enforcers 93 in the power

Been using this site a bit and finally made an account! Hopefully I am doing this right and not breaking code here.

Anywayyys so here is my situation. I'm fairly aggressive skier who wants to get into more big mountain stuff. I've skied my whole life but due to circumstances I've never been able to give it as much as a wished I could have. This season I'm finally in position to do so. I feel I'm definitely lacking in the technique department. I want to really improve on piste (maybe do some race training) and I also want work on my mogul ability as I feel this may help me in big mountain. How much do you guys think these help with big mountain?

And my second question is this. So I bought the Nordica Enforcers 93 in 193 cm. Specifically for reasons mentioned above about improvement. However I only have the money to ski on one ski this year and I am worried about the performance of the ski in the powder for when I do go off trail. Any of you guys skied this ski? How did it do in 12+ inches in fresh snow?

It's the indian, not the arrow my man. Have fun with your skis and you'll progress naturally. Bumps and railing icy groomers will absolutely translate to overall skiing prowess.

I've never skied the enforcer but it is close to the opposite of what I want in a pow ski. That being said, there's still some rocker - I'd just assume you'd need to get a good amount of speed before they'll float or turn without considerable effort in 12in+ snow

Op the enforcer 93 in that length is 100% the ski for you in all conditions including powder. Skip the race training since you are not entering events.

Just go ski dude

Thanks for the input dude. And I get what your saying as far as race training. I should say that I’m thinking about doing race drills and stuff on my own and just spending more time busting groomers than I prefer doing. Also my Dad is an ex racer so maybe be could help. I don’t mean taking legitimate serious race training. I’m too cheap for that anyways.

Forward boot pressure dawg, get forward and drive those skis or else that 193 is going to buck you around.

Watch a few youtube videos or something on proper skiing technique, get those basics down solid on the groomers. The off piste stuff comes with time on the hill man, lots of days

Watch Swift silent deep. It will ease your mind about skiing on a sub 100 ski.

Skiing deep snow is all about technique.

True but it is only top of the head hight on me with shoes on. Do you think it’s too long for what I’m trying to do?
