Whaddap everyone, just got into throwing edits together. This is my first. Its all filmed with a point and shoot, so I think it came out ok. I am poor as hell and can't afford POV or anything fancy yet. Next season maybe... anyway this is not nearly as sick as stuff I have seen here but this is one of my first seasons in the park almost exclusively. Be gentle on a n00b...

Do you want comments on skiing? Skiing was okay nothing impressive but like you said it's your begginnigs so it's deephfunatelie a good start. On the other editing was not the best but again, it's your first time, I'm not that good too at editing. But try to reduce the shakiness qhen filming follows, even though it's hard! But continue to work on that!

yea, I'll take comments on it all, any help is much appreciated. ++k for the feedback. Editing all done with free software too, again no $$....

It's a good starting point. It's good you're picking up a camera this early in your skiing "career". In time when you've mastered some banger tricks your filming and editing skills will be pro too.
Just have fun. If you're having fun then people want to watch. Improvement comes when your head's in a good space and you're optimistic!
Keep at it.

you definently know where to have your filmer for shots. if you steadied out the camera, and maybe got wider spectrum of tricks on film... you would have a sick edit.

Thanks for the feedback everyone- yea, its tough to film without a steady cam, and all the follow shots are done with filmer skiing and trying to hold the point and shoot as steady as possible. It is def. the most ghetto setup humanly possible. I was super fun to put it all together though, esp since this was my first edit. My plan is to document my progression, I’m already throwing bigger than what I put in this video, got the fs and bs 270 offs and working on switch ups. Starting to get tweaked 360 toxic down too, don’t stomp it too clean every time though.

The husky is my dog, sick snow dogs. She loves the pow, and shes even hucked lines behind me (I go DH mtn biking with her a lot) Mounting the point and shoot to the helmet is a great idea- mite look into that. I do want to grab a GoPro at some point though
