i feel like the 2 beats in the intro arent synced or are at different speeds or something

they clash

uhh, yeah i see what you mean, pretyt much the intro was the most rushed bit... if i had the software at home i could tighten that up....+K for you

You had good samples, but I think the kick snare and hat shoulda been introduced before or at the same time as the drop

i am going to disagree with that. so many artists do exactly what he did. let the initial drop be centered around the 'wobble', bring symbols/snare in later.

and ive gotta say man, i really like what you did with this. melody was cool. overall feel was good. but obviously this wasnt the highest quality production ever made (no offense). if you could get this idea to someone who could do a proper job on it (or do it yourself if you have the skills) and get them to add a few more layers, make it less mid-rangey, and master it properly, i think this song would have potential

cheers guys, im trying to get a copy of reason off a friend so maybe i might start making some tracks that i can have a nit more time spent on them... +k for all you guys.

No offense, but.....

The intro melody is kinda whack. Like, its completely the right idea but your melody needs to be in time with tha beat, you can make some variations but for the most part you want it on beat and in sync.

Also, put a little more time into that melody. Like, that melody could be a lot better with a few variations. To me, it sounded like the beginnings of something. A melody like that is something you work off of. Have you had much experience playing keys/piano? If not you might want to just learn some theory basics, it'll free up your playing a ton and give you a lot more creativity. You have to know the rules to break them.

Aside from that, throw some effects on that bass, and put in some sub-bass sounds. It kind of lacked the low end growl that is characteristic of dubstep. Easy to fix though, just throw a really tuned down oscillator in there and you're set.

Good stuff though!

at first i thought it was meh, but like a minute in i loved it. only thing would say is too add another layer of bass with the same pattern but deeper, so its the same sound with a heavier feel.
idk if you get what i mean lol, i worded it very weirdly

I like it. In my opinion I think after the drop if you used something that had a more full/ open sound on top of the wobble bass it would've sounded better. Maybe more layered instruments? not sure about that though. Intro could've been a little better but like you said that was rushed and you would've worked on that more if you had time. This is just constructive criticism and overall I did like it.

well, whata surprise, eheath comes in hating, i dont think i have ever seen you do that before.... if you had read the descriptio i said please no hate...
