i dont get how a plain white suit won the first drop contest. its cool a suit with no design to it won a DESIGN contest.
 
Yeah I didn't agree with that. Second place was pretty sick, but I loved third, especially the tees.
 
I kind of like the winning suit. Its definitely the sickest jacket and hoodie. Maybe they didnt want to spew color all over it like all the rest of the designs. Plus if first drop wants they can do the coloring.
 
i don't want to stir shit but isn't it kinda sketchy that most of the pink names all joined on the 26th march?

can mods check IP of posts to rule out aliases?

those arent the winners, only the top rated by ns, FD is going through them all to pick the top three, which they said they will announce monday

 
She most definitely cheated that one. A lot of the pink names joined that day and their last login was that day...
 
well because she got more votes... lol ! have u seen all the comments... this contest is "how many NS friends u got" thats why she won haha
 
I'm pretty bummed with the results, but what can you do. I spent hours designing my collection, and probably got like 4 friends to vote me up with 10's. Just some close friends that already had accounts. I don't know how many people voted but I have a feeling a lot of the people that just joined decided to vote down a lot of the other entries with 1's, because I ended with a 5.25.
But the fact that your suit doesn't even get a chance of winning if you don't get enough friends to vote for it seems kind of ridiculous. I have seen a lot of possibly winning designs not make the top 15. I guess to even have a shot at the competition you don't only need to design something that looks good, you need to do that and spam other forums/ask all your friends and family members to make a bunch of accounts and vote for you. Or you can just add a couple pockets or lines to the template and tell first drop to color it themselves...
/end rant. Next time I know what I need to do to have a shot
 
if you look at the comments under the winner, they are ALL no name members who address the entrant by name in almost every post. how fucking suspicious is that?
 
Everyone's aware of that, but there isn't much we can do, except for agreeing that the contest turned out bullshit
 
i was wondering this too, but i think its a sick design none the less, although I do like 3rd highest rated better
 
this only got honorable mention an personally i think its the best t they came up with...
