Got my Panasonic Lumix GH2 today, so I took it around to a few random places, and this is what came of it:

All the shots are straight out of the camera, shot with the 14-42mm kit lens in 24p Cinema mode. Still have a lot to learn about it, but so far I'm pretty impressed. I like it a LOT better than my friend's t2i that I've used. Can't wait until I can pick up some new glass (specifically the Voightlander 25mm 0.95) and a slider/glidecam.

Wow, that was so good! I'd love to try this camera sometime. I love my T2i, but this thing looks sooo legit.

gh2 is bomb. just recieved that plus my gh13. have a 14mm, 50mm 1.4, 35-105 3.5 and the kit 14-45. zoom h4n, rode, senmheiser g3 and jag35 rails, d focus. so pleased with everything. for my stuff, cant complain for yhe price one bit.

What 50mm 1.4 do you have? I think thats the next lens I'm gonna pick up since you can get good old MF ones for cheap.

my neighbor had a minolta 50mm rokkor 1.4 that he gave me but you can get them for like 30 bucks on ebay. very happy with it for sure! use the etc mode and boom a 100mm 1.4 without much quality loss

That 25mm is a beautiful lens. Consider buying some vintage primes too, im sure you have.

Just found this jackpot on craigslist for $175:

1) Minolta SRT 202 (BLACK) in excellent condition (with long-lasting batteries included)

2) MD Minolta 24mm f2.8 lens in excellent condition

3) MC Rokkor-X PG 50mm f1.4

4) MD Rokkor-X 50mm f1.7

5) MC Rokkor-PG 55mm f1.7

6) MD Zoom-Rokkor 35-70mm f3.5 (constant)

7) MC Tele-Rokkor 135mm f3.5'

8) MD Rokkor 45mm f2

Hopefully I'll be able to snag them next week on my days off of work.

So pissed someone else snagged this before I could get to it. But I did snag a rokkor x 50mm 1.4 on ebay. Adaptor for it just came in today. Gonna get some shots with it tomorrow at my friends bands cd release show.

Anyways, heres a little edit I made with NS member Mr.Ignant and some of his buddies to test out the quality of the 720 60p mode:

i really dig the titles that peek out from behind the skaters. how did you do that? great looking edit btw

Thanks man. I used motion for the titles. I duplicated the layer of the actual video and placed the title between the duplicate and the OG layer. Then just made a bezier mask on the top layer, frame by frame. It was pretty time consuming, there has to be an easier way to do it.

this makes little sense to me because im more of a photographer dabbling in video, but i'll check it out.

sorry u couldnt make it sometimes this october were gonna be skating alot more if u can get a ride around then
