atleast theres not pro's who can send triple in this comp, would've been gay to see a comp about triple and gay stuff like that

i hope b-dog's going to throw some steezy shit and if henrik was not injured, he would have killed that big air with his butter's double
 
Lol. More than that bud. When people started doing dubs everyone was saying they weren't steezy and people should go back to singles. Now that triples are getting thrown people are saying the same about dubs

haha didint looked at this... well at least they didnt make a enough big air to throw some triple and all i wanted is that bobby didnt make that comp cause he can triple on any kind of jump
 
Yeah man, I've seen Bobby throw triples off the smallest jumps!!

No. Every triple he's done has been on a MASSIVE jump. If they made the jump bigger (100ft+) you would see a few triples but other kinds of new tricks too. It's not at the point where everybody is doing triples yet. And there's a style portion of the event to keep fucks like you happy too

i mean, where's the hype about triple from? comp are all going to be about triples and shit... and it look kinda hard to put some steeze in a triple cause all they'r thinking about when they do them is:land or die

i more the kind of guy who like trick with the most style possible and it seems like skiing's getting like areal.

this is my opinion and i still respect what other skier thinks so dont hate

I don't understand how hand on ski can be considered a bootgrab? Jossi has been killing the style tricks all through the comp too.

Such a good format with the style tricks in my opinion. Its cool to see zero spins and cork 3s etc in comps again.

Kai Mahler is destroying everything in sight, saw him on the hill in switzerland a few times last season, he can do everything, every time. Sw dub misty 12 as his tech trick and sw 5 screamin grab a la Lolo in the style section.. Gonna be a contender in all the comps he can get to for sure.

I think a quad would be cool. It's a competition, why should easy tricks win? I'm all for small tricks with style in edits and shit, but I just can't see why anybody would think an easy trick should beat a much more difficult one. And I think style is definitely making its way into doubles, check out Henrik, Jossi, Sammy C, Kai.. Everybody is developing very distinct style in their dubs. They used to all look the same, but now even if all the skiers were wearing the exact same clothes I could still identify them by watching a dub 10
 
Mahler said he will try to dub misty 14 in the finals. He can throw down for sure. All his tricks have been so on point. Screaming Seamen Corks for stlye tricks aswell as his dubs in the tech section. I'd say he wins the finals. But we will see.

easy trick? da fuck, you really think its easy to do what edollo and bdog do in their edit? i mean it look easy but fuck no its not! its like when a guy who dont ski look at a backflip, he think that this trick is the hardest of all but when i see a backflip i know how easy it is... idk if you understand what i mean to say but i think that there's double that are much more harder to do than triple, look at this double from edollo, he's the only one who can do that tweaky double and thats what comp should be about: simple and double with grab and steezy shit like this:

He did look very cool in his backwards cap and dark shades,so chill. Also, gotta love when the interviewer asks Kai if he thinks he can get on the podium. He says something like "yea I think I have some tricks", or something like that. Then he goes on to get 2nd.

Congrats to Elias Ambuhl for the Win, he was insane, and his fellow Swissman Kai Mahler, whom I never even heard of until now!

Yeah B&E is cool, but Casabon is going to have to pick it up a bit IMO, there's people who aren't pros who can throw dubs and he hasn't got one yet. Tripples are insane and I definitively want to see them be thrown. But there not happening on that jump. Creativity is defiantly waaay cooler to watch in edits and what not, but I want to see some insane rotations in comps.

we cant really see big spin in those comp cause the air is not enough big, henrik would be the man for big spinz, im sure we gonna see some 19 this year(without triple, only spin like cork or bio)

maybe vinny$ is going to be the man cause he landed a cork 19 on tramps, and hes did the smallest sw 12 on a jump..

Yeah I totally agree, I just hate all these people saying "skiing's loosing it's style" look at the first corks thrown, they were wonky with no grabs. Dubs can be done with style now and same with tripples. It's just the progression of the sport.
 
People care so much about throwin doubles or triples. Just let it them ski in their style and progression. Yes, you need how to double in bigair these days. Hence why B-dog doesnt ski bigair in X-games.
