also i can't speak for everyone...but i think that most ppl don't like mogul skiing cause of all the limitations...don't get me wrong i USE to ski moguls also but thats the reason i quit...

uhhhhh your wrong, people dont hate on moguls because they dont copy us, they hate on mogulers because they dont respect style and have a written score for a written trick. they copy each other.... although now with sw 10s.... newschool is gunna have to split soon... kids that do sw 10s... and kids that think they are gay as fuck
 
moguls are fuckin sick idk wha tyour talkin about. the 7 was real arial looking but sick none the less...it was what i would call an arial style 7 truck. its dope that all the newschool tricks are getting into moguls. rippin bumps is so much fun on soft days

What you don't know, there is no pre-determined trick score. Its a DD factor, just like big air. For example, 1 figure is worth this much. A 360 is worth more and an off axis with figure is another DD. It just looks like everybody does the same tricks, but they dont. The mogul federations try to leave the style to the riders.

I dont get your sw 10 example. You accuse of mogulers of doing the same trick and now we see nothing but sw 10 in every huge competition.

To show you that mogul jumps differ, Janne Lathela best tricks are quad swists ans cork7 iron cross. Toby Dawson: Linclon loop and cork 7. Jennifer Heil:double twist spread and backflip.

Maybe if you learn more about it, you will lose your hate towards it. Remeber, ignorence leads to 2 things:fear and hate.

 
he gayed it up on the first jump pretty good though. If they really want to make moguls more fun to watch they should put bigger jumps with a little tranny in the mogul course, like that short-lived BMW X3 Championship a couple years ago.
 
that was sick!! i love moguls so much! i wish we had a mogule course at our mountain. Whoever thinks moguls havent contributed to freestyle they are way wrong. and whoever says that moguls are gay, well i guess that person just cant ski.
 
did he actually grab i can't tell well everyone is saying he did but it looks like he just touches the skis and doesn't actually grab them

for all those hating on moguls,

mogul skiing is a ridiculous fucking sport

go stand next to one of those jumps and watch them come out of the last bump, hit this massive step jump and land with less than a second to be ready to go into a mogul field going super fast again.... you need skill and balls.
 
I thought that was a sick fucking run, His back full was fucking massive, the bottom air bump looked different than a regular world cup course. It looked much like a tabletop and then moguls again...

I wonder what that would have scored, he had his four point landing and take-off dialed and that was a fast run by anyones standards especially with the flips.

Fuck man moguls are cool because you'd have like a split second to get your trick sorted before you've already hit the jump. It'd be crazy, you couldn't think about it at all.

But then again I think moguls isn't that cool, it ruins your knees pretty bad as well.

I like where skiing is headed, moguls is pretty much the opposite of what we call steeze these days.

Progression: About a year behind in the World Cup, and ten years behind in the FIS and USSA rule books. It was only about five years ago when USSA legalized straight over inverts in moguls.

Honestly, it is sick that he threw that. With moguls, your landing has to be perfect so you are ready to get you line back and keep your speed.

The truly sad thing is that he probably was beaten by a technically perfect 360 mute. My big complaint about Moguls and Aerials is that there is no room for style, but only what is considered "correct". In Torino, Jarrett Peterson threw his "Hurricane"( Back 360 to Back 1080 to Back 360, full triple full full), the most technically difficult trick of the whole comp. While he didn't stomp, he rode away. And was not given anything for progressing and stepping up above the other people who were all doing the same trick (back 360 to back 720 to back 360, full doublefull full). This is similar to the pethora of people at the Open big air who threw switch 10s, and then TJs 1440. Except, the true winner was actually rewarded at the Open.
 
the jumps were almost not gay.

the actual skiing of the moguls was as gay as two veiny penises spraying lumpy cum in one male's anus.
