so last night i went to my first big concert/event, identity festival at shoreline. it was fucking crazy. doctor p, bingo players, paul van dyk and eric prydz were insane and it was easily the most fun i've ever had. i also rolled for my first time... took one point of molly but didnt feel it. then i took two more and all 3 hit me at the same time. just then it started to rain, it was literally the perfect night. just wondering if any other nsers went. whoever those kids were with the jiberish chambreezy, that was me that talked to you haha. anyways, cool story bro, i know sorry but i just cant stop thinking about last night. share your experiences and stuff

Went to the Boston show, it was fucking awesome. Arty, Prydz, Madeon, Le Castle Vania, Gartner all were pretty awesome

hardwell, wolfgang, madeon, porter robinson, and i forget who else didnt play at shoreline. i mean i know that not every artist could play at every stop but all the best ones got left out :(

Am I getting that old? I have no clue who any of those bands/djs are. Weird.

And that was your first concert experience? Please get out more, lots lots more. I mean that in the nicest way. If you're old enough to handle drugs like that, you should be going to festivals and traveling and have lots of "greatest nights"

My first real concert was Blink 182, Fenix TX, and Bad Religion. I was about 14 and it was rad.

Next week I get to see The Cure, Passion Pit, Miike Snow, Social D, Saves the Day, and about 50 other bands. Should be solid. Touring around the UK with my friends band while they play Reading/Leeds festivals and then catching the last day of the Rock en Seine in Paris. Trying to figure out a way to see At The Drive In, but starting to think that wont happen.

ive tried to go to so many this past year, i just have the worst luck. once i get back to school im gonna go to a ton of concerts in socal. pretty lights, hard day of the dead, escape from wonderland... im pumped

You're in Socal and you don't go to tons of concerts already? WTF?

I went to one nearly every week while in school outside of LA. There seems to be an amazing venue every 15 miles or so in any/every direction in SoCal. YOU NEED to take advantage of your location. HOB, Chain Reaction, Roxy, Whiskey, Viper Room, Troubador, Glass House, Rainbow room. Even down into Orange County and San Diego, they just continue on in their awesomeness.

glass house is a tight venue. saw matt & kim there a couple years ago and it was a blast.

and OP, definitely go to HARD. i've gone the past two years (granted it was at a smaller venue) and it was ridiculous. also try to go to FYF Fest if the lineup appeals to you, that's a fun one as well.
