Fire Irids Worth it?

Is 65 bucks for 1 lens worth it? I have persimmons and they seem only good for low light days. I have enough and I'm wondering if I should splurge.Heres what I got:

its worth it if you ski alot of sun. i have 1 for my wisdoms and only used it at camp at hood. i would say gold/black irid, better for day to day use

i have fire and it is very sick looking.but is definatly not a versitile lens. you can only use it on sunny days. definatly not for nite skiing or days wen its snowin.

idk that prolly didnt help. dont be afraid to PM me if u have any further questions.

ya fire looks badass but it's for intense sunif you want one lens to do it all it's hi persimmon, doesn't sound it but it does the trick for everythingi like the black irid/hi-yellow combo personally, fire is only good at hood or other sunny summer places

Hell ya. But you got a 1 lense quiver right there with persimmon. If you get fire you might as well get fire and hi yellow and then sell the persimmon all together. That's the ideal option here. Trust me I have 2 pairs of goggles, one with fire, and one with hi. yellow and its sick to have them both for sunny days then dark night skiing.

No way man, Persims 4 life! They rock all around! I can just get fires for cheap and persims kinda suck for blubird days soooo

I got fire irids and hi yellow.... Fire is reallly really good for bright days but darker days i can imagine it wont be doing you any favors.... Hi yellow is great for night riding and darker days but blinds you on sunny days.

If you want a lens that looks sick, fire is where it's at. It is great for sunny days. But like everyone else has said it really isn't good for low light days and would be unusable at night. My favorite suggestion from the above is buy fire and hi yellow and sell the persimmon. The persimmon is definitely the most versatile lens that Oakley makes in my opinion.

if you want a mirrored lens but something more versatile, look into blue iridium. pretty much perfect in my opinion

ya thats what i have. It works great. Ski in the morning when its sunny and then just switch the lens out when it gets cloudy or dark.

go with vr28, ive got that lens and a few others, and the vr28 is sick. and it looks sick on that frame. cause i have that frame too

just for the record ive got 3 pairs of cbars. pm any questions

i ski at stratton and rock fire lenses they look sick i like the look and work great for sunny days and most days i dont have a problem with them at all just on relallllyyyy low light days kinda hard but i really have never had a problem idk if its worht 65 for one lense tho
