Fingernail Polish on topsheets

Has anybody here tried this or consistently use clear finernail polish on their topsheets? Does it work? How well?

now that's gotta be terrible for your topsheets. On second thought, clear, high-gloss enamel sounds kinda of appealing, yet scary at the same time. Anybody else?

if it falls off fingernails in 2 weeks i am sure that it will fall off your skis

cant say i worry too much about top sheet graphics...
