Hello there,

I am moving to the tahoe area for a while on a tourist visa. I would like to find some work while I am there so i can sustain my cash money. Does any know if this is a realistic possibilty if i do not have a work permit and if so where exactly is a good place to look for work and what jobs can be found. I will do any work on offer. Anyone got any stories to tell of getting deported, and, or having there bottoms raped by a big horrible sheriff

De La Dreamos,

Briggos.

Alright bloke, best bet for you is going to be trying to find a job at one of the resorts somewhere...

If you're going to be in south lake, and you're 21, you might even want to try one of the casinos.

Try and see if theres any resorts that still have room on their support staffs (you know.. lifties and shit like that)

(From what I understand, Heavenly still does, but I could be wrong)

With all that said, I'm going to make a shortlist for you.

Hotels.

Restaurants.

Petrol Stations.

Cafes

Post Offices.

Local retail shoppes.

etc etc etc...

Good luck.

don't help the swine! i know the fiend.. briggs are you going south lake you big lord?
truckee man, that place is straight off the meat rack, cheap Pabst, friendly folk, a real western vibe..

we're taking it back man, the civil war never ended, we sent spies years ago.. and the Canadians are backing us.. we meet in super gnar spots on the hill that americans can't reach..
nah i'm kidding, don't wanna start a race war, you guys would dick on my precious karma,
treaty?

Race war? LMAO.

If anything.. the race war would be between me.. one of scottish/irish heritage and you of english..

in which case FUCK THE QUEEN!

you'll notice me, i have david bowie's androgynous sex appeal, tighter jeans than robert plant and yellower teeth than that dude from the pogues, you'll see me rollin around truckee on foot looking amazed by how everyone round here smiles and makes conversation with each other..

Dude, if you really need a job come to Boreal Mountain Ski Resort and talk to Shannon Folley in the rental department. She'll hook it up and all of us are really fun to work with.

Who is this? But yeah, boreal is still hiring most positions including rentals. But rentals would be part time only, Fridays and saturdays, plus a few other days.
