Hi Sorry to bother anyone with this, but I’m wondering if I can get away with 189cm Vishnu wet+ skis.

For context: I am 6’2 160 pounds and I like getting some air as well as doing some jibbing.

bro ur literally the same height as the ski, some people here are 170 and ski 180s it wont be a problem. Just a tip to post in gear talk next time you have question

I’m 6ft 180 and ski 183s center mounted

you're light for your size. what's your skill level? might wanna go 183 if you're not too experienced but theyre soft skis, 189 shouldn't be an issue unless you're new to skiing/park

I'm an expert skier but newer to the park the wet+ in 183 is sold out do you think that the wide + in 183 might be a better pick?

where do you ski? that's fine unless the wide is just more width than you'd ever use. if you ever get soft snow then yeah great!

basically i look at the length this way. you're like 187, 188 cm yourself, you're choosing between 183 and 189, so either -4 or +1 or 2. not a big deal either way so go with your gut. the +s will be stiffer than the regular wets of course but they're still gonna be soft forgiving skis. but since you're newish to park, the 183 might be much easier for you to have fun on

I’m on the east coast so we might get 1 or 2 real powder days a year and it’s usually pretty icy

it's not ideal imo but tons of people use 100-110mm waist skis on the east. it'll be great on the soft snow days, a little bit suboptimal on hard days
