Been reccomending them alot recently for people looking for a park specific ski but I've been really impressed with my volkls this year. I've got the steps but at 130 and looking for a buttery ski I would reccomend looking at the ledge as its the same ski the step but softer. The step/ledge is a super light full symmetric ski with a "tough box" sidewall construction, 10% rocker and sintered race base.
The rocker and symmetry makes it easy to initiate confident turns regular and switch without worry catching your tips and on lips of jumps. The rocker makes surfaces and switch ups nice aswell. The base is super fast if you look after it right so getting speed definitely an issue. From my experience the tough box a construction which is kind of like a half cap/sidewall ski in that the sidewalls are profiled to have the top corner cut off and the top sheet wraps around the profile and minimises any large top sheet chips. The edges seem to be holding up well with no cracks as of yet.
The flex for me on the steps at 155lbs is soft enough that I could butter it but stiff enough for a solid pop and some resistance if I land with my weight off.
Spark notes: look at volks park skis, mainly the ledge.
