your dominant approach.

Kinda weird though, this is some of what is says about achievers:Achievers have goal-oriented lifestyles and a deep commitment to career and family. Their social lives reflect this focus and are structured around family, their place of worship, and work. Achievers live conventional lives, are politically conservative, and respect authority and the status quo. They value consensus, predictability, and stability over risk, intimacy, and self-discovery.Pretty much opposite of how I would consider myself. I am pretty far from politically conservative, can't stand predictability or setting goals. Really the only part I can agree with is valuing family.I wonder whether this says I don't know myself very well or whether the test is inaccurate. Kind of interesting either way.

i dont buy into that shit. i took marketing 301 in college and i do not think i am a

Your primary VALS type is Striver, and your secondary type is Experiencer.

I do not believe this to be true: Money defines success for Strivers, who don't have enough of it to meet their desires.

I could careless about money. I would consider myself to be an experiencer more but i still do not agree with most of the crap in that one either. whatever, marketing stuff like this is stupid.

I agree, the analyses seem too vague, like a horoscope

but I am a striver/experiencer

Strivers are trendy and fun loving. Because

they are motivated by achievement, Strivers are concerned about the

opinions and approval of others. [no] Money defines success [no] for Strivers,

who don't have enough of it to meet their desires. They favor stylish

products [no] that emulate the purchases of people with greater material

wealth. Many see themselves as having a job rather than a career, and a

lack of skills and focus often prevents them from moving ahead. [no?]

Strivers are active consumers[no] because shopping is both a social

activity [no] and an opportunity to demonstrate to peers their ability to

buy.[no] As consumers, they are as impulsive as their financial

circumstance will allow.[vague; probably true for many people]

I think questionnaires like this (personality inventories) are quite difficult to make well.

Primary: Experiencer

Secondary: Achiever

I think that my definitions were pretty much right. I'm definitely an impulse buyer haha.
