just found out i cant go play junior a hockey next year cause my family cant pay off hockey from last year. sucks when you cant control things like that. sorry just wanted people to hear my situation.
 
yea im having a hard time paying rent, food and tuition right now

its actually really stressing me out

 
yep lets one up the kid over and over and compare him to how other peoples lives are worse off.

man! i'm soooo bummed my parents cant drop 6 grand on me just so i can play some hockey!! thats just not fair bro.

seriously dude? thats an extra 500 hundred bucks a month just so you can play hockey.

find a cheaper league, get a job, and pay for it yourself.
 
i'm willing to bet half the replies in here are from people who have families that are well off and would complain if something they loved was taken away.

OP, that's really shitty but try not to let your parents know how much it bums you out because i'm sure they feel awful that they can't fund it for you. Money issues suck man, being a "real person" now i have plenty of my own and it's very frustrating to say the least.
 
Probably true for me, but not on the internet. Then i'd realize i can live without it because of the same reason i posted up there.
 
no one gives a shit that you can't play hockey. suck it up, be a big boy, and quick depending on your parents to carry you through life.

my family lived an average life. my dad worked as a paint contractor-still does. and my mom took care of the kids.

been paying for all my own extracurricular activities since i could drive(16).

 
Is this a school league? At my highschool sports were like 300 bucks, 6 grand is pretty steep. Is there a way you could play in a different league that doesn't cost as much?

This. How would you all like it if growing up you never got to ski because your parents couldn't afford it?
 
Try to talk to the league rep or someone and see if there are any posibilities for sponsorships/financial aid or if they can put you on a payment plan.
 
Hockey sucks, don't worry. Skiing is much better and cheaper.

NS doesn't need to know what's going on in your life.

You're parents are probably broke because they spent too much like everyone in the world did. If that's the case, then you can learn from this and don't spend money you don't have because you will be fucked in life.

PS, don't bitch and complain about it to your parents, they are probably stressed to the max.
