please let me know about the skateboard thing.

you might be able to get away with it but i'd probably try to find a better spot or like tape it to the back or something like that.

that's a long trip but my lord you are bringing a lot. you know that if the checked bag is over like 40 lbs. you pay extra money.

Airlines will not let you check your bag in like that. See if you can bring it in with you on the plane, otherwise you are s.o.l.

lololololololol, id visit, but i wont be home until late august. go to the lake, and milwaukee, adn chitown, meet up with bp. go party in madison.

wisconsin huh, that seems uh interesting. haha

but yeah he is right, you might be able to carry it on with you. i just traveled last weekend and this lady had a purse, carry on, and guitar that she got put somewhere...they might put it somewhere in the back or something cause thats what they did for her. when you get to the airport ask them...

What I did when i brought my skate board to florida was just send it underneither...they just put it in a bag for me

mansfield, right by snowtrails.. haha thats kinda weird, i live in ohio and usually go to racine for part of the summer. kinda like a switch

everytime i travel my skateboard comes with me. so i deffinatly have my share of experience bringing skateboards along. but i have never actually had it poke out from a bag like that.

there have been times where i just put it into my parents lugauge cause their bag is big enough. and other times i would just bring it to the airport like a carry on item knowing i wouldnt actually be allowed to carry it on. and when you check in they wrap it up in some plastic bag paper shit that fits and seals air tight around it. then they slap a sticker saying fragile (ironically) and where its destination is so it stays with your shit. so dont worry cause if they dont allow it to go on with your bag like that then they'll just wrap it up like i just explained.

thats cool, my aunt lives by dayton in beavercreek. haha they have a place called the nutter center. whenever i see it i start aughing

thats what i was thinking too, but ive taken your guys advice and this is now my pile. i'm just taking my skateboard seperate and either hopefully they'll let me take it as a carry-on or just have them tape it up like mat said...

I was gonna say just ducttape your suitcase closed, or something. If its attached it shouldn't be a problem. My mates tape their snowboard boots to the outside of their carry on bags....

I brought my golf clubs with me to florida once. They just wrapped them up in a big bag and stuffed the club head ends with paper or something, put a fragile sticker on it and away it went. Ironically, my friend and his brother were talking shit about my shotty bag, they had fully encased hardbags. Well, when we got to florida my shit was fine, and they each had a set of broken woods. HA

i always just bring my skateboard with me when i travel, just put it in your back pack if you dont have a skate backack just put it behind your back horizontaly on the straps

are you flying out with anyone else (possibly a guy, becasue they seem to have less carry-on stuff) and you can just carry it on in your hand. ive done it with a few different airlines and they seem to have no problem

so pretty much my best friend brooke is a genius. she was like erika! why dont we go to the store and get a bookbag that can hold a skateboard, i'm pretty sure she just wanted to look for anew board, but anyways... we looked at teh only place that sells skate stuff. no luck and then we go, we have friends! so we call the first one that comes to mind, lucas! and he was willing to let me borrow it for a month, thanks lucas! dc skate-capeable bookbag!

heres what im now set with, sooo comfortable by the way.

when i went to hood for 2 weeks i took my ski boots and a board as my carry on and just hung/attached them to my back pack most airports dont question it

i feel like elaine, on that episode of seinfeld, when she's in the asian restaurant, and she's baffled, and says "where am i? is this a dream? what in gods name is going on here?!"
