Finally tricking bigger jumps

So today I did a three on a decent sized jump, but i wan't to put some grabs to it. Any advice on how to not focus on the grab or the spin?

PS. I have full tilts

popset your spin as always

at 180, bring legs up toward you and grab ski under boot

spot landing

let go

aww new guy dont get the joke

and your crazy saying they are uncomfortable. I didnt know boots were supposed to be comfortable until i got full tilts

commit to the grab. i know it sounds obvious but a lot of people are so worried about landing their spin that they just halfass their attempt to grab. when you pop and set, you have to think "i am going to grab no matter what." also, it helps to do some straight airs with the grab before you start spinning

Just set the spin and go for the grab. Leading tail is the easiest IMO because you can bring the ski to your hand and it doesn't change your rotation

i've found that getting really drunk helps with not focusing on spinning or grabbing, and also makes you go way bigger

Yup, pretty much this. The best part is you don't even feel the injuries when they happen, so it kinda works as a suit of armor at the same time.

This. Dont rush the grab, set the spin and go for the grab at 180. If it helps, do it a bunch of times and just focus on bringing your knees up a little bit more every time until you can eventually grab your ski

So I tried it today multiple times. The first time I overshot, so that sucked. The second time I got the grab at 180, but then I did't finish the rotation. resulting in death

Do what somome ^ already said. Don't try and go for the grab properly the first few times.

Build up your confidence by bringing it closer and closer each time. It should feel very smooth, even when you do it of a small jump and need to grab "quickly".

So i tried it again today, I noticed that I want to grab with my opposite hand. Only problem is that if I do It will get me of axis resulting in ghetto cork death.

you're thinking too much about the grab off the lip. remember to pop like you regularly would THEN reach for the grab mid-flight.
