Finally buying a helmet... Need suggestions for the steeziest helmets out there (obviously taking out the ear pads)

Sorry to be that guy but I would go and try them on if you can! The fit can vary and you want it to fit really well

that aside....I love my POC receptor backcountry (it’s the receptor bug except with MIPS)

Giro combine and smith maze are about as popular as it gets can’t really go wrong with them

Giro combyn is probably the best option if it fits your head. But you should really go try some on to see.

Onto my second giro ledge mips after my first one saved my brain from multiple heavy head stacks.

got removable ear pads, removable goggle clip for that goggles under helmet steeze, it’s light, comfy and breathable too. Seems to fit most goggles without a gaper gap.

Would recommend.

Second approval for POC. I've got the receptor bug (not mips) and it's perfect. Adjustable so I always get a snug fit. Ear pads and ventilation come out so i can remove them in the spring or warm days. They have a compatible audio system too.

i've had the giro combyn for a couple years, definitely a good helmet but the fit is a weird one, you really have to try it on. now i'm swapping that for the giro ledge mips, time to just change to a new one and my headwear of choice is now a lot thinner so the ledge fits very well. i've also heard good things about sweet protection and poc, never used them tho.
