oh ya the specs,

Shes a 1980 air cooled, 67 hp, with a bangin custom CD player, i can hear it even when im burning down the highway at 100 KM/H

And the best thing about her is you can't get a speeding ticket.

looks like you wanted an audi
you raise the car up in the winter to drive? / have winter tires?
it looks nice for a vw :)

thats so sick. if you black out the rims, emblems, tail lights, and get that chrome molding shit red, it would be even better.

Sick GLI, always been a fan, but it'd be sicker if it had a vr6 turbo.

But serisously, does it really need its own thread? cmon. But hey at least its not a subie.

Was looking at an A4, but it was between a 2yr. used A4 vs. a new GLI in the decision (both 1.8t and 6 speed). I have a set of cheap 16" wheels with some pretty decent snow tires on them. For the winter I also raise the car up a few inches all around and put a bare bumper cover on to replace my shaved bumper with the lip. The car drives very well in the snow, and the beefy tires give it incredible grip for FWD. The cheap bumper and skid plate, make me feel like I can get through almost anything in the winter.

nuggets-on-fire - Now I remember why I originally left NS five years ago, I guess the overwhelming number of ignorant posts hasn't decreased in my absence.

obvious_TROLL$ - Of course I would love a VR6 turbo (who wouldn't?), but I plan on going big turbo soon with a gt35. I just made the thread to see if there were any VW fans on NS. I certainly think it is better then some of the threads that I have seen on here.

.parker - You are crazy man.... If anything, I can go lower - about an inch left in the back coil-overs and almost two inches still left in the front.

unnecessary asshole is unnecessary. what the fuck do you drive big man, a gigantic pickup truck to compensate for your tiny dick?
and now, a car insult.
go suck a tailpipe jackass

The 1.8t's are great engines and can put out a great amount of power, but the only problem with them is serious torque steer once you get higher power. (same with the vr6, just more reason to get a r32 :P)

Yea its a 2004, and I am still the original owner. The GLI keeps the miles off of it. Gotta love the R.... just something special about it. I have the RC's from the GLI on it for something different, H&R European factory springs, unitronic ecu, Neuspeed sway, EIP intake / short shift, and clarion/boston/JL system.

IMHO, I always thought a jetta or passat was a girls car. Always saw them as one. Nothing manly about that at all..

And yeah I drive a 2004 ram 1500 and love it. Doesnt make me feel more manly before people try to say shit.

z32 brake upgrade w/ brembo slotted + drilled rotors

riding way to high for my liking.. stupid f'in aero kits.

not to start a hate storm here or anything but that's a nice car, but honestly i dont like the look of jettas/passats at all. they're way too boxy for my liking and i'm not sure why everyone loves them so much

i drive an xterra haha, i'm not saying mine is better or yours is bad, im just saying i personally don't like to look of jettas

its probably not what this is.

ours is a meyers manx, my dads cousin built it in 68 and its been in the family ever since, never once seen a dirt road even. its alot more valuable than it is fast.

I don't know what his is. Its not so much that its fast, it only goes 60-65. But it goes 60-65 on dirt sliding around like nobody's business. Looks just like that.

I have a 95 Prelude right now (RICE) haha after riding in my buddies MK4 Wolfsburg Jetta 1.8t i have fallen in love with VW's. Saving up for one in the spring lookin at MK4 GTI's but can't decide between 1.8T or a VR6. Opinions?
