Final! New CS edit what

yeah the beginning was so dope, but it seemed to go downhill quickly. the skiing, editing, and filming was all amazing, but i guess i was just expecting more
 
also pause it at the point...skis are hella bent....boone's are very strong contrary to many peoples' beliefs

It was a solid edit with some legit skiier. Although it didnt have that wow factor that most CS edits have

He is ridiculously smooth and stylish. Loving what he's doing. Between he, Josh Bishop, and the Polar Bear, the Surface squad is reeeeeaaaaal dope.
 
i was soo confused you when you said you liked it up until the lil john video started cause i thought you were talking about LJ and i was like WHAT!? LJ was in a segment that someone didnt like? lol but now that i know what you mean i agree with you
 
Let me elaborate. I saw zero new tricks in there. Usually that's not a problem with me in edits. Except for this edit, the filming was terrible enough that it did matter. I'm not trying to personally attack Evan (Fuck! is still my favorite edit ever) but that many stationary shots? Panning shots can look good on occasion but in this edit the shots didn't tell the whole story. Follow cams would have been a better option in my opinion. The editing also seemed quite uninspired. Plus, I'm getting really bored of blunt grabs. Just my $0.02

jk, the gangsta rap got to me. I suggest ICP next time, keep it real dogs.
 
I think that in general, people on NS take skiing too seriously, and anyone who hates on the lil' john clips in this edit is a perfect example of that.
