Sorry sports fans.

Now that Giuliani is gone we only have 3 more assholes left. McCain's VP choice perhaps though?

"George Huckabee"...

is a spoof on words to insinuate Huckabee is just like our current president George W. Bush.

And no I do not care that whoever made that picture spelled Huckabee with another e.

Another nice try at owning me though, you'll get it right one day.

btw....suck it wanker

it should say this behind their names

Smart republican

smart republican

smart republican

crazy ass isolationist that wants to take out the cia and the irs

Yea, thats about the only argument that I have heard against the man. It is a great argument of sound logic.

....

You think that Ron Paul does not want to conduct international trade? When did he say that? Just because you don't want to fight shitty wars that have no purpose makes you an isolationist? mmk

IRS- Yes he wants to remove it. It is an unconstitutional tax that punishes productivity when we could have a legal tax that works on consumption instead. WTF is crazy about that?

CIA - Yes, he wants to make it smaller. Totally abolish it? No. Stop spying on Americans? Yes. WTF is crazt about that?

K, how is Ron Paul crazy again?

anyone want a Ron Paul fact?????

if the US government completely abolished the income tax we would be dropped down to the same budget we had 10 years ago..........................................

thats how crazy government spending has gotten. (note) I am not a ron paul person.

What is all this crazy people keep talking about?

Have you ever thought that the reason you don't understand his positions might be because you haven't researched them, or that (in the event you have researched) are just dumb and should not be voting because you don't know wtf is going on?

I'm tempted to make a new thread, "Explain to me why Ron Paul is crazy".

Yes that thread will probably exist in 10 minutes.

I guess crazy is the wrong word. a better one is.... radial. the changes he is proposing are very different from our norm, and therefor, people see them as crazy

This election is supposedly all about "change".

But when people see real change they get scared and say it is crazy.

In effect, people want to think things will be better without actually making any changes.

All I have to say is:

grow some balls and man up (not to anyone in particular...or any women either i guess..you get the point)

When the temperature in a room is too hot, lets say 85 degrees, the logical solution is to turn the thermostat down. Now the question lies in what temperature to turn it to. Should we turn it down to 50 degrees, or would it be more logical to put it at 72 degrees?

Guys just move to Canada, avoid this american election shit. You can just come up here and like... No-one knows who's prime minister, and no-one gives a fuck. Besides, everyone likes us, if you go somewhere out of country you can be like... "Oh, I'm from canada" and they'll be like HOLY SHIT COME EAT AT MY HOUSE! Or something. Like, everyone likes us, at least right now.

So what youre saying is that even though it is the right direction, it's going too far, right?

In what respects though? Size of government? Government is too big now but RP wants to make it too small? Do you really believe government could not perform its duties with the cuts that RP is proposing?

Or are you refering to another position altogether?

Canada is coming under more and more American influence everyday. Check out all the nifty new stuff NAFTA gave us.

North America will become more and more cohesive in an attempt to compete with the European Union.

IcePointa usually you sound pretty intelligent but in this occasion you just need to shut the fuck up. Whoever made this pic is a moron not only because they called Huckabee 'George' (saying it was a pun to make fun of George Bush is fucking stupid, and has little relativity to the picture itself) but is also a moron because its blatant ignorance. Ron Paul = Peace isn't a good argument either, so stop showing us your stupid ass photoshopped pictures and face the facts Ron Paul is too radical to be voted President.

What you would consider "right" verses the guy standing next to you is largely subjective. We don't need a radical president thats going to polarize the people even further (a libertarian would sure as hell do that). What Washington really needs is somebody that is willing to comprise and meet half way on an issue, rather than pounding their agenda just so it can be overwritten when the next president comes along. You know, a moderate.

Oh, and if we really want to split hairs, Romney is closer of Bush than "George Huckebee." That picture is an epic fail.

haha, I never suggested the picture wasn't totally biased

it is, I just thought it was funny

But Ron Paul is totally absolutely against the wars in Iraq or Iran. He is the peace candidate in the Republican party. I don't think you can effectively argue against that but I would like to see someone try.

If you are so obsessed with electability you will have to face the fact that a Democrat is going to be president...

especially if he is up against McCain and his epic warmongering.

Romney might have a chance if he weren't Mormon and wet noodle on the issues. He is probably the best bet.

Huckabee...is probably done for. The GOP establishment doesn't like him.

Might as well vote for the only guy that doesn't totally suck

The way I see it McCain will win the Republican Primary, and Obama for Democrats. From there I'm pretty sure Obama will win the election all-together and nobody will be bitching about the republicans. War is 1 single issue, and the U.S. has alot of issues. Look at our economy for christ-sake, I don't know if you drive but spending $80 to fill up my truck hurts.

Libertarians actually generally support a combination of republican economic policy and democratic social tollerance. How do you figure that it would be more devisive than someone all the way on one side or the other?

And Mike Huckabee would disagree with you on your last point.

“I didn’t say the President was arrogant…. I’ve said that the policies have been arrogant…. I’m the one who actually supported the President’s surge. I supported the Bush tax cuts, when Mr. Romney didn’t. I was with President Bush on gun control, when Mitt Romney wasn’t. I was with the President on the President’s pro-life position, when Mitt Romney wasn’t.”

You're probably right about Obama ending up the winner, he would get my non-RP support.

But RP is stronger on economics than any of the other candidates. He actually understands how our system works and is the senior member of the house finance commitee(?).

The other candidates don't even debate him on economic issues. They just hope that voters will not know what he's talking about either and just ignore him and think he must be crazy or something.

Sooooo....what's Canada's government and healthcare system and all that stuff like. I'd research it but i'm lazy and i want to hear from some canadians.

Every election is about what's best for our country. Sometimes that involves change sometimes it doesn't. Regardless of your opinion on the matter.

Its great, the health care covers all life saving costs. Places like dentists and therapists we have to pay for, but hospitals, we dont pay for. The waiting time may be long depending on time of day and type of injury; triage is important. So if you have a broken whatever, you will wait...at as long as before, but the guy with the heart attack will pass first. So we never worry about getting hurt. Im glad I live in canada. I just dont like the politicians that run the country
