final cut pro is a really complex program, there is a LOT you can do with stuff, its kinda hard to explain absolutely everything over a newschoolers post, ask a more direct question on what you need help with

Look on YouTube for tutorials, probably the best way to learn is to find some tutorials, learn the basics, and just use it from there.

but to answer her original question, it took me literally an entire summer of nothing but final cut pro to figure it out. 200+ hours if your learning on your own
