How can I import a song from my itunes library to edit into a video, because right now whenever I try it says its the wrong file type.

i don't have final cut (but will shortly) and i think its like any other program, i think that it has to be an mp3 format, and like i think that u have to find the file in its actual location cause isn't itunes just a 'shortcut' to get to the files, the music files r located somewhere else on the mac, if that made sense

final cut is pretty similar to other editors, like I have been using adobe premier for 3 years, and i just got final cut pro, and its much more technical, not in a bad way tho, like you have so many more options, and it'll take just a lil bit to get used it.

i just ordered final cut express rather than pro am i going to hell?

'First they would suspend my body from wires attached to the ceiling, all the lights in the church would be off, and all of the people would be let into the church. After everyone is in they would start playing techno and then strobe lights would start and a disco ball, and then my body would be dropped from the ceiling and it would be shook to the beat of the music. Everyone would be able to hear my mom going 'OHH MY GODD!' and her extreme sobbing'

of course you aren't going to hell, we all mistakes, only once though, so dont do it again.

somebody please respond as to how to get songs into final cut pro, i am going insane

you have to take the songs straight from cd, which kinda sucks, but its not so bad if you have cd-rw goin for ya
