hey media/arts

i made these logos in illistartour and when i put them into final cut it gives these weird white lines around it, i bet its a easy fix somewhere in exporting process i just missed, but let me know how to fix this, when i import them to photoshop for pictures it works fine but final cut leaves white lines around it!

if you open it as a full image youll see the white surrounding the edges, it bothers me any ideas for a fox? thanks!

few possiblities

you didn't make them on a transparent background and you tried to erase the background and there is still some white

what file type? ais, jpg, png?

also could be that ais is vector based and your images arent vectors so they exported out funny

here's an easy fix:

bring them into photoshop, give them a white background, save as .jpg, .png, or etc...

bring them into final cut, then right click the clip after putting it in the timeline, go to blending mode, and click multiply (i can't remember which one it is, it might be multiply, it might not, just try all of the different blending modes until the white disappears)

is it png? save it as a PNG and you shouldn't have a problem, unless there are white lines in your illustrator file. Also, you could try pulling in a 3-way color corrector and crush every value aka turn down shadows/mids/highlights and it should turn that white to black. Ive done this with logos that weren't pure white, worked well.

it is a png, ill try the color correction way , not sure if it will work, i think it might be the file itself but im not sure how
