should i get a polarized circular filter? or ND filter? This is for skiing by the way. what does each do?

i use circular polarizer or just a normal polarizer i find it brings out the snow and sky cause you tend to have to overexpose in snow and these filters will keep sky and snow in detail and not just one blob.

i know polarizers do in sunlight, but what would happen if you shot with one when it was cloudy out

it will make a difference in cloudy weather just not as much, it reduces the glare of the light reflected off the snow i think, i pretty much always shoot with the polarizer

the only reason i could see for wanting a nd filter is if you want to do a long exposure when there is still alot of light as it will bump exposure times up
