I want to do loads of filming next season, and good enough quality for dvd, iv heard sony vx1000 is min suitable camera. is this true, what are people using/ what can you get away with??

basically i think what hes askin is what are the amateur filmers out there filming with these days. It would be cool if everyone posted their camera and editing software.

I'm using a 4 year old canon zr-20. it works fine, but it's starting to break down, so i gotta get a new one.

you can buy a camera thats $300 and is fine quality to make a DVD
