So i've been experimenting a bit more with video on the Canon 5dMKII. Some of you may have seen the last 3 posts on my blog with some info on what i discovered.

I have now posted my first video up here too:

This camera is definitely a powerful filming tool if you do it right. But you have to take your time with it and learn its weaknesses. I was stoked on the results i got with it though. With a bit of practice I can definitely get even more out of it. And I also have a Canon 7d now to play with , which shoots 60p too.

If anyone has any questions about shooting video with this camera let me know!

^^here's yours

those edits won him a free vio pov 1.5, i doubt he'll be using the skydiving helmet setup anymore haha

I recently bought the 500d (Rebel t1i) which shoots 720p at 30fps. its definately a challenge to film with, but in my opinion that's what also makes it alot of fun to film with. I'm gonna upgrade to a 5d mkII after christmas, but I like the 500d for use as a walkaround camera for now.

I created a little test with my camera, I must admit that my little edit features alot less action and alot more boring stuff.

about the rolling shutter that you mentioned in your blog, I haven't noticed any rolling shutter, but I probably will when I start using it for a few ski shots.

The trampoline vid? Johnny Cash- God's gonna cut you down (Mondkopf Plus de Someil remix)

It's the only Johnny Cash remix that I don't find offensive haha
