Filming Colleges?

So I'm at Anoka, MN, and I'm wondering was good colleges for filming you guys would recommend. I am willing to move around considering my brother is up in Duluth right now.

I'm currently looking for Art Institute of Minneapolis but I've been recently hearing some bad things about it, so I'm also looking at MCAD. But that's a good amount more expensive than AI. I'm looking for a school hopefully under $30,000 a year.

So recommendations or any help is greatly appreciated! And I have talked to some school career counselors but some more info can only help out.

I went to MCTC for film. Talk to Greg Kubera if he is still around. Classes are very very small 8-10 people .

MSU in Bozeman has a pretty good film school. If you have that much to spend, I'd try going out of state and explore a different part of the country.

pretty good access and location (Loring Park). like i said, small class size, good access to equipment and resources, well structured class format for a degree in the field you choose.

I liked it alot, I was doing a lot of filming and traveling at the time of class and my instructor encouraged me to be able to get out and go field work.

exactly what I can say about Lake Superior College. class size is great, equipment is unreal, great instructor, very flexible. I only went to school one day last week cuz I was up shooting a promo for Lutsen.
only thing is it's only offered as a one year Media Productions diploma, or a 2 year, like.. Intro to Media Associates. Still, pretty sick.

Try to get a hold of Jake Strassman or Pat Murphy, I think those two would be good resources.

I don't know Jake all that well, met him once or twice, but he is filming a lot of events right now and making some pretty ill edits
