Filming around Vail after the open

Hey,

How is it like around Vail this time of the year, when it comes to filming? I am going to the open, and since the alpes are so shitty right now, we are planning to stay 4 or 5 extra days and shoot some, how is Vail's park? Is there any bc? Is it worth the stay?

And yeah, if anyone on here lives in Vail and is willing to have a guest or two over a week for some cash, tell me!

peace

i am not sure, but i bet Vail's park will be messed up afterwards, with them cleaning up and taking donw the stuff... but tehre are really nice resorts around with good stuff... Aspen/Snowmass, Keystone, Copper, Breck...etc The BC around here is pretty good

uh.....if you are looking for good snow go to alta snowbird. or Wolfcreek if you want to stay in colorado. Some cool little drops off lovers leap in Vail. Also Crested Butte is sick and they have gotten a lot of snow recently. Some good BC around Winter Park, not the greatest snow year though.

i recommend not staying in vail, but making the trek to southwest colorado. they've been getting dumped on all season, especially silverton. for park, nothing in colorado even comes close to how big breck is right now.

i'll be filming at the open and then keystone after... one of our crew knows the park manager, so we'll be steezing it up. Come on over.

^^ yea if you want pow and BC only, then go to South West Colorado... if you want to not drive 5 hours, have good parks and decent BC... then stay in Summit County or go to Aspen/Snowmass... but i would reccomend not staying in Vail, the park probably wont be open while they are taking down the course...
