filling binding holes

i need to fill some binding holes and i know everything about filling them with plugs, but has anyone ever filled the hole all the way with epoxy? i would think this would make a stronger fill, or would it not? anyone tried this?

yeh that might work but i would use some sillicone. thats what all the shops use.good luck.

I've used epoxy, the kind that mixes out of two tubes, it works well, but don't spread around the excess on your top sheets, it dissolves them

stick golf tees in the holes with wood glue and then cut them off and wha la filled holes

You could epoxy them, but whats the point? Plugging does all you need, and is quick and cheap/

epoxy is too brittle in cold thats why shops use plugs

yeah, i just put some plugs in cause i'm lazy and i dont want to experiment and wait a day for epoxy to dry.
