Fights on the hill

One time I got in a fight w some kid and absolutely demolished him after he swung his whack ass elan ski at me after he tried to roast me and my mother by calling us gay. I got my seasons pass taken away for a day or 2 until I gave the ppl at the desk the smoke to give it back. Does anyone else have stories about fights on the hill to share has this ever happened to anyone or is it just bc I ski in the most boof pack place ever Chelsea, Quebec?

Kicked one of my boarder friends in the shin whilst wearing ski boots because they cut me off hitting an XL and I ate shit. Never really encounter anyone very aggressive, usually just old people who don't understand park, but I'm not going to dislike someone because they don't want to accept change to the sport.

Broke up a 9 person brawl in the park that resulted in a broken nose and cops. Tuesday night had a beer and lift ticket specials. Was raking out a feature and heard screaming roll down and shits getting lit.

Same mtn, my buddy/coworker was getting choked by a guy for telling him not to sidejump or something.

Honestly can't remember any other fights. Probably a few but nothing memorable. People are generally mellow. Occasional dad starts shit for riding park properly or not going 0 down steep runs because his shot ass family is wedging down them but never actually become physical.

Don't do it in the park

No. I’ve been skiing for 30 years and never gotten in a fight on the hill. Maybe I’ve talked some shit at the bar here and there but honestly brother you have issues if you find reasons to be mad about a day skiing.

I love a good throw down . Unfortunately being a psycho will get you thrown in jail. And I can’t be bothered becoming a fighter

The fact that that kid took a swing with his Elan is pretty noteworthy. Potential deadly move I would think. Elan is known for their high quality construction

I once was witness to the collision of two adult tantrums in a powder panic situation in the lift line. Guys were way out there trying to start shit with different people in different lines in the maze that merged together and ultimately they collided and both took each other's bait and almost instantly were arguing about a beer can and then someone put it in someones pocket or something. I ended up riding up the lift with one of the guys and even explained to him that if it were me I would just ski away. It was super early season of course and the guy was wearing his lanyard with his season pass around his neck and the lifty at the bottom had already told him that he had to get off the lift a new man or be trespassed from the ski area on account of his BS so far. Of course he responded with a whole tirade of reasons why he could not let this stand without challenging the other man to a duel. Other dude was waiting at the top strapping in to their boards and this guy started yelling about how they needed to meet up in the wood by the boyscout cabin. I was like oh wow and after my run skied up to a mountain ops guy with a radio and heard they had a brawl and both groups like 7 people or something ended up getting passes pulled and trespassed after they were found to be all on the ground wrestling in a pile

ah yes, as opposed to a rossingol ski, which would merely bruise the flesh

This is so relevant to Saturday. So much of people talking out of the corner of their mouths just being bitches in the lines. I hate powder days for that exact reason everything about it is so toxic. People drive on I70 like crazy assholes cutting eachother off hoping to arrive five minutes earlier, to then sit in hour long lines

Shittiest part about skiing is you don’t know who you’re getting into a fight with. Not that you have to worry about getting in a fight with an actual professional fighter—more like lawyers. A lot of people are successful and rich because they do have self control, but you have to remember there are actually a lot of people who are rich from suing, scamming, etc.

If I didn’t have friends in the Vail valley and ones who fly out, honestly I don’t know if I’d ski anymore. Not in Colorado at least—I’m looking for an excuse to call it quits I feel like my will is hanging by a thread. I miss Minnesota skiing

When I was in middle school I was being a retard on here and posted about fighting some kid from my mountain and it ended up getting a ton of publicity. The mountain ended up commenting that they would be looking for us and our passes would be pulled, cops called, etc. All happened within like 4 hours.

Well I talked to the kid over Instagram or something and he was chill and understood the gravity of the situation. We shook hands the next day and I’ve never had a problem since.

one time this guy said that my parents were way richer than his which is dumb cause they only got like 5 mil and that guy's grand parents own COP lol. anyway he swung at me and I was still in my bindings so it got messy.

fuck that guy tho

Fuck pow days

Fights in public like at a bar or something are understandable cuz of drunk bullshit and meatheads flexing or whatever but fights on the mountain are just weird to see but there are some rare exceptions to the rule i guess, like if youre a dad and your kid gets taken out by some dipshit who tries to bail on the scene of the accident or is being a dick, id knock his ass out.

some dude was catcalling my hot anime skier girl friend from the lift so i busted out the glock and let the choppa hit on his ass, put him on a t shirt

Why fight when you can ski?

The closest I've gotten to confrontations have been with parents who thought I skied too close to their kid. Also when 2 snowboarders thought I'd yelled at them to move, but in reality I was just singing to Scenario by tribe called quest and they thought I'd yelled move at them when the lyric: Hit the Mic like BOOM came up.

Big purple-I agree people are up there to have a good time and get away from the city bs so people should leave the pindick attitude in the shitty city were it belongs.
