Fights and Skiing

dude i know! one day i was standing in line for the lift and i was talking with a few friends and next thing i know im on the ground. this old guy hit me dead on at full speed. i was laying on the ground and was like im okay kuz i didnt want to start anything. but when i get up, everyone around me tells me that the guy called me a dumbass, people i didnt even know! so i get up on the lift and i chase the guy down and im almost off the lift and he looks at me while he is standing after he just got off the lift. so im like, yeah you know exactly what im gonna say. so i ski over to him and before i even am fully stopped and before i say something he say, look son, im old enough to be your grandfather so respect me. at that point i get really pissed and i click out of my skis and get up in his face and say something to the effect of, you expect me to respect you after you run into me, dont ask if im okay, and then call me a dumbass? when im saying this it is not reallly talking but a yelling. so the ski patrol comes over because they hear me yelling and they immediately start to blame me, but i explain myself and so he is like, okay, how about we just shake hands and say sorry. i put my hand out to shake his and say im sorry i shouldnt have reacted how i did, the guy that hit me says, im not going to shake this punks hand. now that ski patrol is there he hears this and believes that i am not in the wrong and proceeds to kick the old guy out :) now that i look back i shouldnt have blown up because i could have gotten my ticket clipped for swearing but its all good now haha.
 
My hill has a couple fights a week. Watched a boarder get beat up, then he hit the skier with a kids ski pole. Then i followed the skier as we chased the boarder to a sword (ski pole) fight in the caffeteria! lol and many other fights. Got so bad we have 10-15 ski patrolers in our terrain park....i love my hill! lol
 
Never seen a fight at the mountain but this one time I ran into some snowboarder when I was like 12, and he walked over like he was going to beat me up, then I took off my ski mask and he realized I was 12 (I was a pretty huge 12 year old), and walked away angrily. lol
 
One time I sprayed an old guy and snaked a bunch of people, the old guy waited with the liftie for half an hour, he told my friends he was going to rip off my leg and take my pass
 
my dad took me to utah this year(so stoked) and we where haveing a great day at parck city. like half way through they day we were about to get into the lift line and this kids skis right into my dad and bounces back like 5 feet( my dad didnt even move). The kid got up looked at me and my dad laughing are asses off and he starts to limp/ ski away. Not very interesting but that the only thing thats happen to me . Skiing is way to chill for fights
 
In the liftline at snowbird this year one of my friends barely tapped the back of this like 55 year old dudes skis and the dude started chewing him out. As soon as this happened, my other friend (who has tourettes no joke) unstrapped his board and started telling him to back the fuck off. The old dude shoved him so my buddy proceeded to repeatedly punch the old dude in the mouth until there was blood all down his jacket. Then the old dude tried to gouge my friend's eye out and the crazy kid, in a tourettes-fueled rage, bit a huge gash in the guy's hand. It was finally broken up by the old dude's wife. The lifties had actually stopped the lift to watch the brawl and they were all giving my 15 year old friend hella props for beating the shit out of someone 3x his age.
 
I've been in my fair share of swear off but nothing serious.
Some college fuckhead snowboarder cut off my friend as he was about to hit a feature. the guy comes off early and starts talking shit to my bro. I'm tired from hiking so i start screaming at this guy,drop my skis and start walking his way, telling him off blah blah blah The rest of the day was annoying as hell, i could tell that dude just wanted to lay me out.
Worst i've seen (and been blamed for) was a hit and run. Apparently some kids got in a tustle over some bullshit and while kids A and B were standing at the top of the park (of somewhere) kid C and his buddy D came flying outta nowhere and Clocked either Kid A or B with a ski pole. I of course matched the description of the assailiant so Ski patrol was on my ass. Some fuck up shit
 
a NSer kicked the crap out of a lifty at bachelor this year. i got there after teh fight but you could see blood on the ground and a lifty with a busted face. hopefully one of the fellow bachelor riders saw it and can elaborate
 
My buddy was raking a box out, he had his skis laying in front of the take off. so these gapers keep hitting the side of the kicker hes raking and hes like the next one to do that im throwing my rake at. it was so funny, this kid comes down and goes right over his parked skis and hits the box. my buddy just throws his rake javelin style and nails him in the stomach. the kid ate shit and got pissed. always a good time.
 
going up the lift at whiteface and me and my buddy see these two huge guys with no skis on standing next to the tiny little snowboarder at the side of the trail. we couldn't hear what they were saying because it was so windy, but they were obviously yelling. The kid was clearly freaking out. So me and my friend just laugh it off and stop paying attention. Well when we went down that trail, the kid and the two guys were gone, but there was a pair of gloves scattered where the kid had been. don't know what happened, but we got the impression that something had just gone down. We didn't see any of them again that day, but we later heard that two guys had been arrested for trying to steal shit from kids on the mountain. it was a weird experiance.....but somewhat amusing.
 
senior year of high school i was at the hill with uni-corn (he worked there but wasnt working at the time). he got into it verbally with this guy who was sitting in the landing and told the guy letting people into the park not to let him in. well this guy tried to enter the park again and was physically stopped up top. after some more yelling and what not they went to management to complain. i told uni-corn to blame it me so he wouldnt get fired...

uni-corn got fired and i got my pass revoked. hey vic, since you still owe me a pass, you wanna pay for my 5 mountain next year?
 
at brighton this year a night skiing fight went down between two boarders...these two douches that claimed they were locals but could barely board were flippin on this kid for apparently cutting him off...the kid said they were crazy and had no idea what they were talking about and should go back to wherever they came from..the douche bag kid says lets fuckin go and starts to unstrap his board...the chill kid also unstraps his board...i then stepped in and said you know if you guys start fighting ur just gna slip and slide down the hill but the douche comes at the kid anyway and the chill kid lays one in the douches face and they both fall on the ground and slide down the hill...so i being a badass(lol) take douches snowboard and send it down the hill...douches friend then snowboards full speed at me from 30 ft up the hill and claims he will kill me...as he is five feet away i brace my self and swiftly dodge him and push him at the same time(thank you lax) he eats shit and slides down the hill...the doouche kid won the fight but it took him a loong time to find his board haha

dude so there's this little snowboarder in like i dunno 7th grade who always talks hella shit about me saying im a shitty skier and all that (to be honest i suck at park) so one day im chilling in line and right when im getting on the lift he nails me in the fucking head with an ice ball so i waited for him at the top of the lift and let him strap in and shit so he goes on his merry way laughing like a little bitch then he look back and i started to rally after him both my poles in my hands like fucking swords or some shit and he just shrieks like a little girl "oh shit!" and bolts so i decide fuck it im gonna scare the shit outta this bitch and i stay on his back for a little bit and at the bottom of the run he had to unstrap and he looks up im just standing there with my poles looking like im about to smite his ass i pretend to swing my poles and he just screams out " no don't" and i stopped an inch away from his face surprisingly he still talks shit to me it's pissing me off next time it'll be a legit beating
 
never seen a legit fist fight, but my dad almost got in one with this crazy old dude

so my whole family decided to go to the hill for a day to just ride together and teach my little sister how to ski. well we went in for lunch, and i was actually trying to find them but i showed up after things started to get heated. i saw my family, kinda gathered around a table with this weird old dude who came up and stole my dads seat. he had is phone out, and kept pretending he was talking to someone on it while clearly he wasnt. my parents kept telling that we had already had the spot, but he just was not getting up. so my dad went and talked to the manager and apparently this guy does weird shit here all the time. so this is when things got crazy, as my dad was talking to the manager, the dude puts down his phone, walks up to my mom and just whips his shit out. obviously my moms like WTF?! and signals for my dad to come over. she tells him what happened, and my dad just exploads and starts pushing the guy. they go outside but by the time they get, a cops already outside because other people saw what the guy did and called. it was definately a funny sight to see.
 
i have never seen nor been in a fight. i am a lover not a fighter, unless its internet fighting, bring it on.
 
my intire crew waited for his ass at the bottem of the hill and beat the shit out of him. i broke his poles agianst a tree, and we snapped one of his skis. fucker got uppercutted so much. he was bleeding from his eyes and shit, crying like a little pussy. i busted out a body slam on his ass and broke both of his arms. the ski patroler broke up the fight and clipped all of our tickets. we where gonna beat the shit out of the patroller but my mom came to pick us up.
 
I've run into or seen my fair share of fights at the mountains. Most recent was in the park at west. Some kid threw a snowball at somebody on a rail and shit went down. 7 or 8 people mostly drunk beating the hell out each other. Some blood shed, no one died in the end. Trying to get drunk people to stop fighting is never easy or fun
 
i was on a bus on a trip to mountain creek and a couple kids started arguing and one of the kid said to the other one "yea well i went out with your sister just to use her". they went at it in a packed greyhound bus and started throwin punches and and shit. the bus driver pulled over and cops showed up to the middle of the highway and arrested both of them and they had to get bailed out of jail by there parents
 
never been in a legit ski hill brawl, but I have gotten into a fair share of verbal fights, all of which I owned /claim. Between instructors leading trains through the park, gapers side jumping/snaking/ standing on the jumps in the big line, and arrogant old men, I don't put up with any shit.
 
on a day with barley anyone there this gang of snowskaters rolled up and then one just went off on the other, he pulled his hood over his face wrapped the snowskate cord around him and just beat the shit out of him. his friends didn't do shit and it took hella long for ski patrol to break it up. his friends were saying he deserved it. honestly looked like the guy could have killed him if he had wanted to
 
I was skiing with my friend and he told this kid that his jacket was gay and then rode off. Later that night these kids came up from behind him, pushed him over, punched him once or twice and then rode off. we never found em. not really a fight but punches were thrown.
