Skogen, JackBach was talking about Trainspotting, I guess.
Trainspotting the Book:
-So many more characters
-One of the most evil short stories I've ever read
-More like in a diary form, not a continuous story, which takes a little out of the excperience
Example: The Toilet Scene, in the book, the whole toilet scene is just fucking nasty, but it only takes like two rows. No shit about him going into the toilet and fetching those ass-tablets. Rents just fishes them out.
Trainspotting the Movie:
-Amazing music choices
-Sick acting (Robert Carlyle is The Begbie, no one else could do it as well)
-It's visually so well done, it goes beyond the book
-One of my all-time favourite movies, BUT whoever said "I couldn't even watch it man, it was disgusting " what, it's funniest fucking movie ever made. You want disgusting, read the book
The movie is basically just about young people in Edinburgh, and Renton living as a junkie. If you read the book(which isn't "lingo" it's written the way Scots speak) you'll discover much more about everyone, it's a good book.
God damn I wrote too much.
