I think Fight Club-the book was much better but the film kicked ass. Fuck,Edward Norton is one of the best actors of the decade.

You should read every book written by Chuck Palahnuik(guy who wrote fight club). Fight club was his first novel so you can imagine that all the rest of his books rock

 
Chuck Palanuik is amazing. i still think Fight Club is his best, but i really liked Survivor. the movie Fight Club is brilliant when you first see it, but when you read the book you get completely blown away. its truely astounding

i love that part where 'lou' comes into his basement and sees everyone there and beats the shit out of tyler. all he was doing was laughing and screaming, it's just too funny.

kickass movie. in the commentary it says that they spliced porn into the actual picture 3 times. awesome soundtrack too, "goin out west" by tom waits is badass, and Where Is My Mind rules.

i disagree with skogenjake except for one part. the end, when where is my mind is playing, and the buildings are falling down, is one of the most visually and auditory stimulating and fantastic things i have ever seen. that is, by far, my favorite clip from any movie ever.

i caught that in the ending scene where the buildings are falling down and where is my mind is playing. there's a real quick clip of a penis. it was weird.

Choke was very good. The penis was in there because Tyler used to splice porn clips into movies, and no one would ever know. It was early in the book.

yeah if you think its stupid because of all the "unnecesary violence" and everyone thinking its cool cause of that, then you are missing the point. this movie should be mandatory viewing for psych class. its so much deeper than amazing fight scenes and special effects.

Though the book is better in detail (who would have guessed), I now think that the movie is better. It's been my number one movie along with Trainspotting since I first saw it so long ago.

Trainspotting and Fight Club do share the same thing, they're all about showing humanity's weaknesses. AND in both cases the movies are much more enhanced than the books.

yeah but trainspotting was amazing and the kids that watch it (me) arent the same as those that get super into fight club. fight club just got adopted by the testosteone bleeding asshole and twisted into something. else. nevertheless, i got it, but didnt really like it that much. now trainspotting is a whole nother story...

That movie has no point. "Don't do drugs" is about as much as I got out of it.

The cinematography was fucking incredible, acting was top notch, but what's the fucking point? It's so depressing, I'd never watch it again.

i watched fight club before football games to get pumped up because it puts you into a wierd state of mind. that moving shows a deeper meaning every time i watch it.
