alright so FIFA 10 comes out tomorrow and I can't be more stoked. It's 90% of the reason why I got my PS3. This game has so much to offer, and the gameplay has been changed so that its really realistic. I will be playing nonstop for a very long time. My life will consist of school, soccer practice, fifa. and maybe some sleep. Who else is stoked about the game?

 
Looks and sounds like it's a real good game, unfortunately, soccer and video games are extremely unappealing to me. Soccer's not that big out here on the West coast. Have fun man. Enjoy the game and good luck to you and your team in real life.
 
Fifa 10 is the shit, (and this is coming from someone who barely understands soccer) but Uncharted 2 takes the title of best.... game.... ever for now. Meaning, until Assassin's Creed 2 comes out.
 
i absolutely love 10. i got it the day it came out. it is much more challenging than 09 but i enjoy it because the realism is so much better and fifa 09 after a while got sooooo easy. they improved every little detail of gameplay to the point where if none of the player info was on the screen it would look like a real game was on
 
damn, i wanna get it soooo badly. just don't have the money to burn.looks like i'm stuck with '08 for a while
 
it would be a team of people who have the game. everyone would play as a seperate member of a team against other teams
 
i'd love to know who at ea sports decided that goalkeepers all became mentally deficient since last year. They used to never charge unless you told them too, and now they do nothing but that.

and i've decided that defending is far too easy. i'll string together 3 or 4 passes, put in a beautiful through ball and be on a breakaway, but then some random defender will catch up somehow, shove me over, and take the ball. no foul called. and even if there had been, i wouldn't score on the freekick since they change them the slightest bit every year so you have to relearn how to do them, just like with corners.
 
I used to be dirty at freekicks around the 20-25 yard area. Dirty as in automatic goal, everytime. All you had to do was aim upper 90, hold up on the left stick to get topspin, and barely tap the shoot button. It would just dip over the wall and in.

Everywhere else though, I sucked.
 
i used to put them in just about every time in fifa06. Any location, it was in unless i somehow fucked up the spin, never blocked or anything. I think the number of freekicks i've put in using fifa07, 08, 09, and 10 combined would probably be about 20-30 at most.

i just feel like ea always compensates rather than fixing. in 09, keepers never came off their line and defending could be quite hard. so in 10, keepers always come off their line, and defending is far too easy
 
the virtual pro/manager mode combo is cool, but its fucking hard to still perform well as a team and grow your pro, so i tried out be a pro seasons. best thing ever. just create a new pro, and you get exp for doing good in games, which you can sped on attributes. youstart out on the reserve team and have to work your way up. fuck im addicted.
 
Its a really fun game, kind of annoying though how every fucker I play online goes straight for FC Barcelona.
 
I think it's big in the bay area and Sacramento, but here in Fresno, it's not that big. Football is the big sport here.

I played the demo. Bought the game, then returned it and decided to get a MW2 pre-order instead. I already have FIFA 08 and I can't see myself playing 10 that much anyways. The game is super sick though. You can knock players off the ball in a more realistic way, the ball control is better (360 degrees), you actually have to weight your passes and best of all they finally improved the run mechanic; instead of having your players locked into runs and over running passes you can change mid run now, this was probably my biggest FIFA pet peeve ever. I'll probably buy the game at some point.
 
for sure, my little brother thinks that nothing is really different, but its absolutely amaaazing, all of the little aspects of the game that they added
 
ever since i got this game i have been playing it nonstop. ic ome home from soccer practice/ games and i go straight to FIFA. I am stuck on manager mode and can't get enough of it. The gameplay is just so epicly awesome that i jsut can't get enough. i have been up to about 2 or 3 in the morning everynight playing.
