It's called lacrosse way better than guys FH, although girls FH is the shit to watch. If you want balls coming at your face you must be gay.

I can put it on a floppy disc and all you need to do is put it in and restart the pc and it pops up no way to get rid of it unless you turn off the pc and take the floppy disc out :)

i play field hockey, and even though the high school i went to didnt have any guys on the team, every so often we would play a team with a guy on it. so you can try out and play. itd just be kind of weird....
 
i'm glad someone said that first thing be cause honestly if you cant play real hockey and want to play feild hockey... you suck, why not try laccross or something.. maybe soccer... or do like the average teenager does this century, sit on their ass playing videogames... i know i'm a victom of it.
 
There is a kid that is an exchange student from holland and he is a field hockey trainer over there. He is in really really good shape and he is also a bomb skier. I didn't even know there was such a thing as mens field hockey but evidently its pretty big in europe. And I am sure my friend isn't gay. Anyway I don't think that there are any mens field hockey teams here in the states but you might be able to join a club if you really want to play.
 
Haha chill out serious if u are in western europe u will talk different. U havent watched the olympics or something. And you talk about gay? I think field hockey is the only sport were u dont wear protection and still get kicked by eachother. So whats gay now?

at the field hockey camp i went to a few years ago there was a guy. but he was the only one. and i dont think its gay for guys to play.. you should see those games, there crazy

80km/h ?? thats nothing. try baseball, 95 Mph, or hockey, where the puck is moving fucking 150km/h. or why not waterskiing, where you reach speeds of 80Mph
 
at my high schoool and throughout mass if there is a sport that only has a team for one sex then someone of the opposite sex can play on the team, u just have to wear the same uniform.........its the truth i swear to god, there was a guy on the girls field hockey team last year, it was fuckin weird he was wearing a skirt and everything
 
i didnt even know it existed. sounds kind of like a pussy sport, just play lax or real hockey. but yeah i dont think they give scholarships for that
 
The odd school in Canada has male field hockey, atleast out here in BC. My friend is on the Canadian U-21 team.
 
yeah man they wear protection and Idk it is 80 kmh more less its hard and u will be out if u get hit. But thats not the point the game is damn technical I think even more than lacrosse were its more power and accuracy which I think u need more field hockey.

thank you! i play field hockey now (in high school) but i've watched some guys games, they are absolutely ridiculous! mens field hockey is definitley sick. basically all you people who are saying that fh is gay if a guy plays it, it's HOCKEY on GRASS. so i guess all you hockey players are faggots too?

and it's true if you play on a high school team and their uniform is a skirt, the guys have to wear the skirt also. you all have to look the same and have the same uniform, just like any other sport. but i've seen 6 or 7 guys throughout the years on teams and they absolutely destroy everyone else.. while wearing the skirt. they just wear hugeass basketball shorts underneath so it just looks like they're wearing shorts. it's not a big deal.

but men fh teams dont wear skirts.
 
Thank you and that other guy. Watch that video I gave the link. Its just an example and its even a boring game. So imagine how it is when you score like 10 goals in one match, coz thats what happens. U got action all the time!

But do you guys play field hockey on gras there in the states? Coz here we play on art grass or how you call it. And most clubs got this field were is a layer of water on top so the ball goes really fast (just like your inrun)
 
i have to say that this thread is the BIGGEST coincidence ever because i litteraly just came from a jokes charity field hockey tryout. its an all male team whos going to play our schools girl team which happens to be one of the best in ontario.

i have no idea how to play just think it sooo funny to play, and we made our team wear kilts, so that were badass.

point is, FH is intense, ill post some footage of our actual game after it happens

 
every1 is saying that he should play lacrosse instead. but where will you get with larcrosse? no where, theres college level but thats it. barely any other countries play it besides in the us. guys fh is all over the world, even in the olympics. if i was really good at either sport, i would rather play fh, just because i could actually make a living out of it, unlike lacrosse.

oh and to defend what he said about the balls shooting at ur face (no gay pun intended). lacrosse has helmets, fh doesnt...

 
yeah i think there is a type of fieldhockey for boys....i think its called real hockey. You know...on ice, with a puck....with fights. Ohh and unlike field hockey, you don't have to be a butt bandit to play.
